Using this website

This website describes the Vessel & Reed commercial scenting service and the Founding Release. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Product information

Product descriptions, dimensions, fragrance descriptions and expected fill duration are provided in good faith. Fill duration and scent performance vary with room size, airflow, temperature and positioning. Imagery is representative; the final production product may differ in minor detail.

Pricing

Prices shown are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT. The standard price is £49 + VAT per month per diffuser. The Founding Customer price is £39 + VAT per month per diffuser for the first 12 months. Preferential pricing for multi-diffuser scent systems is quoted individually.

Service terms

Full service terms, including refill scheduling and cancellation, will be confirmed in writing before your first paid service period begins. No long-term commercial scenting agreement is required for the Founding Customer service.

Liability and governing law

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Founding Release & Deposit Terms

The following terms apply to the Vessel & Reed Founding Release and the £30 refundable deposit.

The Founding Release

The Vessel & Reed Founding Release is limited to 50 UK businesses.

Founding Customers receive a Founding Customer price of £39 + VAT per month per diffuser, compared with our intended standard price of £49 + VAT per month per diffuser, for their first 12 months of service.

The service has a 3-month minimum term from the agreed service start date. After the minimum term, you may continue the service at your Founding Customer price for the remainder of your first 12 months, subject to the applicable service terms.

Founding Customers will also receive direct access to the founding team and the opportunity to provide feedback as we develop the service.

What your £30 deposit does

Your £30 deposit:

  • reserves your place as a Vessel & Reed Founding Customer;
  • reserves an allocation for one diffuser in our first production run;
  • is credited in full against your first service payment;
  • is refundable in full until your order enters production; and
  • will be refunded automatically if Vessel & Reed does not proceed with the first production run.

We will notify you by email when your order enters production. Once that notification has been sent, the deposit will no longer be refundable, but it will still be credited against your first service payment.

Requesting a refund

Before your order enters production, you can request a refund by emailing hello@vesselandreed.co.uk from the email address used when reserving your place.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used to pay the deposit. The time taken for the funds to appear will depend on your payment provider.

Before your service starts

Before any recurring service payment is taken, we will confirm in writing:

  • your chosen scent Profile;
  • the number of diffusers being supplied;
  • delivery details;
  • your expected service start date;
  • your Founding Customer price; and
  • the applicable ongoing service terms.

Paying the £30 deposit does not start a subscription and does not authorise recurring payments.

Your ongoing Vessel & Reed service will only begin once the service arrangements have been confirmed.

Minimum term

Once your Vessel & Reed service begins, there is a 3-month minimum term.

After the minimum term, you may continue the service in accordance with the applicable service terms. Your Founding Customer price will continue for the remainder of your first 12 months of service.

Payments

Deposits are processed securely by Stripe. Vessel & Reed does not receive or store your full card details.

The £30 deposit is a one-time payment and is separate from the recurring payments for your Vessel & Reed service.

These terms apply specifically to the Founding Release deposit. Your ongoing Vessel & Reed service will be subject to separate Service Terms provided before the service begins.
